Issue importing .dwg files into LS

Currently running Autodesk Civil 3D 2019 (version 13.0.613.0)

I save a drawing to .dwg format, transfer it to a usb thumb drive, and in J-Field on the LS, I go Files=>Data Exchange=>Import=>Browse to file location and click "Open"

A progress bar appears, but is stuck at 0.00%

I click "cancel" and it asks if I want to interrupt, I say yes. The progress bar window remains on the screen, I am able to navigate to other screens but if I navigate to the first home screen (collect stake etc.) the progress bar window displays on top (see pic). Only way to get rid of the progress bar is a reboot.

I have tried saving my drawing as a .dxf and I get the same issue. I have tried saving my drawing as an older version (AutoCAD 2013 etc.) but when I try to import it gives an error "no compatible data was found" or something along those lines.

Has anyone else run into this issue?

Personally, I hate converting, exporting, importing and similar tasks when 2020 outside the window. I think, that RealDWG or Esri OEM engine, or other similar SDK should be or please to implement on LS and other applications. For example, RealDWG running 64-bit operating systems:
- Windows Server 2008 and newer
- CentOS 6.9 and newer
- Ubuntu 14.04 and newer
