Javad Mobile Tools - HPT Firmware Loader

Using JMT version 2.2.0, is the HPT Firmware Loader tool functional? Using a Galaxy Note 5, I am able to connect through bluetooth to my T2, but I have had no luck trying to use this new radio feature. Do I need to pair my phone to the radio? I have a HPT401BT.

I see. I was hoping that JMT could do this through a bluetooth connection without any cables.
