I will occasionally use the points filtering option on design points for moving and rotating each separate deed around a farm. For instance, I may have a total of 60 design points and only want to select points 6-22. I can easily do this by selecting the filter icon in the points screen and the type in 6..22 and then only those points will be shown in the design points screen.
The problem we're having is that if I do that and then fail to "clear" that selection by doing a "long click" on the filter icon, it seems that the LS will hold that selection even into the next job.
I had used one of our other LS'S the other day and used this feature then one of our guys called me today and said he couldn't find his points. They had started a new job and had downloaded 144 points. When they got to the field and went to select the design points only about 30 or so were showing up. I had a pretty good idea that it was the filtering option, and it was. After I led them to the correct spot and had them do a long click all the points returned on their screen.
Shouldn't/couldn't this feature be "cleared" when starting a new job so at the beginning of every job there were no filtering enabled? It isn't too difficult to clear it, but I don't see a benefit for the selections I make in one job to carry over to another.
