Target white box

I often use the Center at Current Position and Target Name white boxes to stake a point near me when I can't remember the point name. It would be sweet if pressing the Target Name white box would automatically change the target to the selected point if a point or linework end point is selected in the map.

Target Name whitebox is used to key in a name of point to select. I could suggest filling the edit field with name of the point selected on map, but I'm pretty sure it will confuse many people who would expect current target name in that field.
On the other hand, for your task you just need to choose "From Map" stake mode and use the Next button.

I use From Map most of the time and I use the Target white box to enter in points if I have a print with me.
