Tilt Correction?

General question... Presuming the level is calibrated on the monopod, do you use Tilt Correction for most of the Actions?

I can see not doing so for Boundary, but Quick and Precise Topo seem perfect candidates for using it.

Thanks in advance for any comments!

It works fine for precision shots, but you will see the spread open up a bit due to "noise" in the tilt sensors. The noise is random and averages out quickly, but it makes your statistics look worse than they are. I'm old school and like the bubbles on the rover pole...

Having said that, I've noticed on the RPLS Today site (Surveyor Connect, Beerleg) that some manufacturers require recalibration of tilt sensors very often. I watch my tilt sensors often and compare them to my bubbles. The tilt sensors are always very close and I have not calibrated in a long time. Early on, we had the same limitations, but I believe the developers have addressed this issue and the need to calibrate should not be very often. Good idea to check often though.

As an aside I did key in that white box that (ingeniously) shows the two vials so that you don't have to look down and away from the screen. My first reaction was, Cool! My second was that, even with my reading glasses on, the image is too small for a viewer to be certain that the levels are level... If my description makes sense.

I think if it were doubled in size it would be a thing of genius.
