As of 23 January a new Beam ARSAT(Channel ID#13) has been brought online as a replacement for the AMSAT which will be decommissioned on 4th March 2024.
The ARSAT is a 2400 Baud beam replacing the 1200 Baud AMSAT beam.
The ARSAT is in the same orbital location and will carry the same data as the AMSAT (plus some ancillary data), so can be considered a direct replacement.
The AMSAT will be decommissioned on 4th March.
All AMSAT clients should move to ARSAT prior to this date.
