Backup and Restore Settings

I haven't did this in a while, but my LS+ needs to go in for repairs and I have my rental unit. I am doing the full backup, but if I remember correctly, a lot of the settings will not transfer? Is there an easy way to get all my settings up to date on the rental??? Thanks.
