Bad DPOS and OPUS solutions today???

Anyone else experience poor post processing solutions today? I went back to a job I did nearly 4 years ago and had to setup a new base location. The AUTO position was within 3ft of my old DPOS coordinates and we found the control we needed to tie. What was weird is that after I DPOS'd the base, the new coordinate was 227000.00 feet away to the northeast. My employee noticed he had no corrections after he started it back up using the processed base. The auto position of the rover was close to the correct coordinates and was too far from the base. I checked to make sure the zone was right.

What else was weird is that we started another auto session and it was close to SPC as well. Both DPOS and OPUS resulted in the same post processed position. Any suggestions?

I just DPOS'd a 25 minute AUTO base setup on the same base point and it came back with a position matching the old stuff... hmmm. I tried to RE-DPOS the big file and it's still thrown off.

The new base setup was completely AUTO and no name similarities. I created a new project and just imported the old coordinates. There wasn't any old raw data. Good thought.

It may have pulled a file from a previous project regardless of the name or project. I have seen it happen a couple of times in the past. That is the only thing that makes since to me. Alexey will sort it out. The down side is that they are on Holiday in Moscow.

That appears to be what it is. I just noticed the collection date on the RAW file report. It is 12/3/21 and the subsequent one that worked has todays date! I also put in an aerial image under the bad coordinate and it is another base point on a job I did that day. Did I just lose my raw data from today?

I'm just gonna retrace and reprocess and check more previous monuments. It'll work out. I would like to know what's going on though. Haven't experienced this before. Thanks.

It should still be in your base. You should be able to get in your base files and see what the times and dates were there.

If the base static file is there then you should be able to delete your base point, recreate the base point and attach the correct static file and then DPOS it.

I think it should still be there.

I did go in and delete the base file attached but I think it has just re-downloaded the bad file again. Give me some steps.

Call me in the morning about 6:30 eastern and I will walk you through it. My number is your LS under Live Tech Support. Have your LS and T3 turned on and on remote assistance.

How do I get it from the Base if the project isn't listing it or asking for it?

I got the file downloaded from the base and renamed it to work with an unused BASE file and DPOS ran and it looks good. I'm not gonna depend on the data right away but will be checking it in the field. Thanks.

I think maybe my guy had a false start tryin TCP and when he didn't have cell service and hooked the radio up, maybe he tried to use the same base name or something? I don't know, but I do know what to look for now if it happens again.
