Base Rover Setup - Design Point

When setting up Base and Rover I typically want the base to be over the record (design) coordinate. If the record point has a surveyed coordinate and a design coordinate, I select the point and then check the design point and tap OK. The next screen ignores the selection and grabs the survey coordinates. When in the Base Rove Screen the survey coordinates are displayed and used for the base position. How do you get the design point selection to stick?

I almost never save a point using accept in stakeout which is what it sounds like you have done. Use accept as and it will create a point that is independent of the design point. Next time you set up the base pick the design point and the coordinates will be correct.
