Bucket request, .KMZ import & another vote for mission planning.

I have a hard telling which bucket is filling up when there is two lines of buckets and they go from bucket to bucket on Phase 1. Can there be a flashing bucket while filling? This is really a non-issue but a request only if it's simple to implement.
A .KMZ import would also be nice to have. Keep me from having to insert into autocad and export into the LS. Certain clients send me Google earth exports detailing limits of survey now on a regular basis.
One more vote for onboard mission planning.

It's getting to a point where there isn't too much to improve. I'm grasping at straws because I feel we need to make requests weekly.

Did everyone see the new Geomax "picpoint"? It's cute. The competition is catching up or at least trying.

Another thing (Maybe not important, but entertaining for LS watchers everywhere!) would be a little box to tell us HOW MANY buckets are going on.
Why? well, it clicked. What did it do? Knowing it made another bucket, is sort of handy... as in, "That shot was a 32 bucket shot". Meaning, that one way to determine how much it struggled, during that observation, is how many buckets were needed, to solve it. Maybe not totally important, but you know, keep LS watchers busy!

And, I'd like it to be able from the INVERSE screen, to have 2 little buttons added.
MID point. (I know, there are other ways to do it)
and , STAKE THIS LINE.

That would save a few blunders in the field.

Go get field shots, and come get the one in the pine forest, during PEAK!!! For sure!!

You know how I feel about onboard mission planning from my posts, and I like the idea of more detail and analysis on the buckets, as for KMZ I may be wrong but vaguely remember a mention about some potential legal type or proprietary issue with google and Javad importing those files?

Because, we are so happy with the LS, and what it can do.... "My LS can shoot that, can your XRB Hottbang do that?" Watch this!

And, because it has no mission planning... we fall on our face...

KML import has been in the todo list for a long time. When its time comes, we'll add KMZ as well.

Thanks Mikail, you guys are the best.
In regards to mission planning I usually look at it to help me plan where I want to start and be during the day mainly due to terrain. It has helped me be at a really tough spot at the right time and get an RTK solution.

I echo Sean. Mission planning when you're in tough conditions can make all the difference between a bad day and success. Well worth adding to the short end of any to-do list.
