Hi Matt,
a) on my laptop screen the calibration shows 14 dots vertically when fit to screen, but only 12 when I click full size. I do have a 12" or better screen. Which screen should I use, 12 dots or 14?
b) it says screen and LS need to be fixed for the duration, but then says to move the LS and leave screen fixed. How can I keep the screen dots centered in the green rectangle if I have to shoot pictures from the sides and top? Is the rectangle moving to clue me to move to the side or top, or so I just move the LS so the dots fit the rectangle and take a picture of the dots again?
c) am I to take pictures of the dots on the screen, or take pictures of some type of target (house wall, box, vase, whatever). If it's the target and the screen how can you do that while the LS and screen stay fixed on a tripod and table?
The only thing I could make of the directions was to move the LS each time so all the dots on the screen fit in the green rectangle and take a picture of that. But that doesn't follow the part that says pictures needed from sides and top (of something; screen, box, wall, both?).
Please forgive if this sounds dumb; haven't done anything with camera's or photogrammetry for 25 years.
