Camera offset survey

I am in a situation now where I am being requested to spend some money (use it or lose it type deal) and I'm wondering if anyone has experience using the camera offset survey. I just watched Shawn's video and I think it will work for what I need. Frequently I'm requested to document encroachments of buildings onto federal lands, and the camera offset seems like the ticket for this type of work. Can the camera offset method show the locations of buildings with reasonable accuracy? Within an inch or so?

Also - does Javad make a radio repeater?

How about J-Shield? I can't find much info on that feature.

If I want to have an internal SIM card for RTN, is that an additional cost?

The camera offset survey does work well but conditions have to be just right. (Good placement of shots with ideal distances).

The UHF radios that Javad has can be used as a repeater setup through Jfield or ModemVU.

JShield is a block on other frequencies that operate close to the GNSS frequencies. While it is not a huge problem now, it could be in the future with companies like what used to be called Light Squared.

If you have any other questions feel free to ask here or contact me.

Thanks for the replies! As far as repeaters go, I can essentially buy 2 identical radios and set up one as broadcast at the base and one as repeater somewhere between me and the base?

Sorry I did not see your last question. When you purchase a Triumph LS there are different options for internal radio and internal Cellular modems. There are different costs depending on your chosen options.

As far as radios and repeaters you are correct. You can buy two radios. Set one up as a repeater and the other one will broadcast as normal.

IF i have a t-1m on base, (1 watt radio) and a 35 watt radio, repeating, on the hill, can I add one more repeater, (maybe a 4 watt one on atv), for getting into holes? So, this is repeat 2x...
