Compass Box Icons

What do the two items above the azimuth in the compass box mean? The one on the left appears to be a bullseye bubble, but I've never seen an explanation for its dynamic behavior. The one on the right looks like an analog clock, but I have no idea what it represents (unless I just happened to save the screenshot at 9:00 a.m.).

On the left is a digital level vial, on the right indicates the option selected in the How to Stop screen (Stop Button, When Titled or After).
