Do 5G sim cards work in the LS+ and T3?

I have got to be over complicating this. I got my 5G SIM cards from AT&T and I called and activated them. They show to be activated online.

I feel like something is amiss. Does 5G cause a problem?

I have the dynamic card in the T3 with cell antenna on the correct port (done that before). It shows a signal on the home screen, but when I click it, it shows the AT&T card present and registered on the network and the APN is there, BUT no data link or IP Address?

I put a static IP card in the T3. Under the TCP Output Server > Cellular settings there is no information. The cellular LED on the front is red.

I recently installed an AT&T 5G SIM card in my T3, and it works. I did have to inform AT&T what my IMEI # was on the T3 and set the APN to "Broadband" or "ATT Broadband" (I can't remember which).

From the LS Connect to the T3; Click to configure Radio, TCPO, and JCORS; Click TCP Output Server; Click Cellular; Here is where you see the IMEI and other info. If from this screen you click Sim Card Settings, you can set the AP Name, etc... My AP Name appears to be blank... Maybe it was the LS that need the APN entered... I also remember Power cycling the Cell Modem. Once I got it working (Green Light), I power cycled the T3, and didn't work (Red Light) till I cleared the NVRAM. It's been working ever since.

Did you figure it out ? have same issue using an external modem, assuming it would bypass internal modem on base and rover.
The internal modems are 3G on mine.
