Is there a way to export a text file with the csv extension instead of the txt extension?

Yes, you can edit file name with extension in the screen where you select destination path. It will be reset to txt next time though. Do you need to have .csv always?

I usually export a txt file from J-Field and then open it with Excel and do some checks, delete/renumber points, etc. then save it as csv and import that csv file in my drawing.
I was thinking if J-Field saved the file with the csv extension, I could open it in Excel by double clicking because csv files open with Excel by default. It's not hard to right click on the txt file and choose open with Excel.

Next release (which is expected to be out soon), will remember the extension for a file type once changed. So you will have to set csv extension once, and it will be used for all text files later.
