Firmware v4.3.0.0 Release Update

JAVAD will begin distribution of firmware version 4.3.0.0 on Friday 8th December 2023.

This 4.3.0.0 release adds support for new receivers and receiver’s revisions, adds new features for improved performance of JAVAD receivers, as well as enhancements and bug fixes.

The release applies to all JAVAD receivers except the TRIUMPH-LS and TRIUMPH-LS Plus.

The release applies to all JAVAD receivers except the TRIUMPH-LS and TRIUMPH-LS Plus.

According to the release page, it doesn't apply to older Triumph2 receivers, either (like mine).

As long at the Triumph2 has a board revision '4' or greater ( TRIUMPH2_x, where x > 3 ) then the firmware 'triumph2-4.3.00-231129 update' is available for download and installation using NetView.

To get the latest version of the firmware to download "From Server" the newest version of Netview/Modem needs to be installed. I had to uninstall Netview/Modem and install the new version to get it to work.

You can get the newest version of the firmware to install from the website and update the firmware "From File" in the older version of Netview/Modem.

Just a note. I was unable to upgrade through NetView/Modem, most recent version, trying to use the download firmware, but was able to upgrade through Netview/Modem from the server once I ran it as Administrator. I am running Windows 7 Professional. Thanks to Phillip Lancaster for the tip!!

After completing the firmware v4.3.0.0 update to a Triumph-2 or Triumph-3NR, any 'base HPT radio Bluetooth connection' (that is being used) needs to be 're-paired' to the Triumph-2 or Triumph-3NR Bluetooth Channel / Port 'b'.

This resolves the issue to allow the ‘base’ unit Bluetooth Channel / Port ‘a’ to be available for a Triumph-LS using JFIELD (or NetView via a PC) to access.
