GPS Cloth tape

I do a lot of work in subdivisions, recovering corners and needing to look for others.
Im very familar with "distance to last" white box and its very helpful.

What I want however is to be able to just type in a point number and be able to track how far from that point I am.
Akin to a GPS cloth tape.

Where am I missing that very handy feature?
Im sure its right in front of me somewhere

Thank you in advance,

Just food for thought.
As the LS gets more sophisticated, and if the screen were 25% bigger, we could maybe do away with the stake out screen. It could all be done from the collect screen. Essentially, all stake out is, is a form of "collect relative to" other lines, points, or entities. Then, we could add 2 rows of white boxes across the bottom of the screen, to hold all the information in stake out. Or, one side could be 2 rows of white boxes, with all the data we use in stake out.
The LS has already gone "boldly into unknown territory".
I'm just thinking here...

How to make it better?

Thank you very much Jim, Matt and of course.....Nate
PDelta White Box.

I will be exploring that in detail tomorrow. Thank you.

BTW Nate, I do like what you propose and agree -
"Collect" is everything that we do and "display" should be a tailored output that matches the users current needs.

Lets make it better
