How does the GrAnt G5T ground plane snow cone kit attach to the bottom of the antenna. the kit has 8 screws in the kit. 4 screws I assume attach the snow cone to the ground plane. The four holes on the horizontal of the plate line up existing screws in antenna case. Do the extra screws attach the antenna directly to ground plane or do I need to make a plate to attach the plate to the four threaded holes adjacent to 5/8X11 threaded hole? once I figure this out it is on figuring out mounting house.

Mounting plate is included in the snow cone kit.

It's been like 7 years since I have done this so I may be wrong but don't you take four screws out from the bottom of the antenna and replace them with longer screws in the kit?
