HELP READING THE RESULTS

After I DPOS a job and attempt to evaluate the results there are several items that I have been unable to find the documentation for. In general this is a request for guidance on how to find documentation and information in the manual or on the website. I am searching for a more specific answer than "the information is in the manual or on the website"; I am looking for instructions that will lead me to the proper page of the manual or proper location and article on the website. My fear is that everything that I am asking for is explained in detail and I am just not seeing it. Please be gentle with your replies.

Here is a start for my questions:

1 - On the LS, when I look at my point list {Home screen 1 > (Points)}, there are several columns of data on the left hand side of the screen with symbols and abbreviations along with different colors. Where can I find a description of what these symbols, abbreviations, numbers, and colors mean?

2 - There are several icons near the top of the screen (add, edit, delete, filters and search; along with Additional actions, and a detailed report function). Where can I find documentation about the use and functionality of these commands?

3 - On the right hand side of the LS screen while in the same point function there is a light blue box that contains information about the highlighted point. This information contains abbreviations and acronyms along with data and several colors. Where can I find a description of what these symbols, abbreviations, and colors mean; and how to interpret and evaluate the information.

4 - When looking at the archived .zip folder/information on my PC screen there are several files that contain data, such as screen shots that was collected during the field collection phase of the project. Where can I find documentation that will help me unpack, correlate and otherwise use this information?

As you can tell from my questions, there is a lot of studying that I need to do. I am asking you to help me organize my study guide by pointing me to the proper pages in the manual.

After I have absorbed the portions of the manual that relate I believe it would be helpful to review the basic field profiles so that I will be capturing the proper screen shots and other data to help me evaluate my final positions and to make decisions about the accuracy of my surveyed positions.

Thanks in advance for everything.

1- Mine will look a little different than yours Steve. Tap the funnel T icon to see a list of abbreviations. The first icon is the GNSS raw data icon (it will be the diskette in release version). The second is Camera Photo. Third is screenshot. Fourth which is empty here, but is the symbol to the right of microphone above the blue screen, is notes. And last is Audio.

2- http://www.javad.com/downloads/javadgnss/manuals/hardware/Triumph-LS-Quick-Start-Guide-Page-View.pdf pages 11-15

3- in the first photo above the blue box can be configured by tapping the menu button (3 green bars), then settings, then tap info, tap template and change to custom and check what you would like to see.

4- Steve, I move the project archive zip file to my computer for permanent backup. You can bring it back in anytime in the future into the LS. See page 28 of the quick start guide

Steve,
Most of the time, when I ask questions, I either get:
"Here's how you do that". (The manual is having a HARD time keeping up with development!) Aint it great?
Or, "Were working on that. It's coming, next release".
Or, "It's in the works. Maybe a yr away". Meanwhile, here is a work-around.
It's like having a tool development team, at your beck and call, and they are BUSY doing it.
I cannot say that for ANY other development team.

To Javad and Team:
Keep up the good work. You are building a WORLD CLASS surveying tool.
Thanks, and Merry Christmas.

Nate
