I Don't Understand Why This Is Necessary

Most of the time I use my T2 with a Jetpack, it' s only on the rare occasion that I need a UHF radio. Why do I have to wait 3+ minutes at every base setup for this Modem Enabling process to complete before I can do any work? Does the process have anything to do with the WiFi connection? If not, is there a way to bypass this when I'm using the Jetpack?

When you make the connection to the base, tap in window on left side that shows radio tcp jcors….unselect the radio as a correction source and you should bypass the modem enabling each time. To use radio again you will need to turn it back on. Like you I use tcp all of the time so I keep my radio turned off.
