Import warning

Since I updated to new release in my LS+, when I import an ASC file of design points I am getting this ( Warning: There is more than one "N" or "E" field. Please get rid of duplicates ). Before update I never had a problem. I hit the "OK" button and it imports the design points. I have revisited one old project since this started happening and staked old points ( not the greatest results ). I started a new project and tried import design points and still get this warning. Not sure what is going on. It puts the design points in and haven't had a chance to check in the field. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Mike

Matt, For the life of me I can't get a screen shot. I hit Print Screen and hear the shutter sound. But i can't find it in the LS files and when I archive the project and put in PC and unzip there is nothing in the screen shots. Don't know what I am doing wrong. Mike

The simplest way to get a screenshot is through RAMS. If you are able to connect to RAMS today I can take a look.

Matt. I can get on Rams now and you can look at it anytime. Serial # 00697. Spoke too soon. RAMS. Have internet connection enabled. When I hit connect to JAVADGNSS INC. It gives "Connect Error!".

I took a look. It is strange that you receive that error. It appears to only be an issue with that TEMP2.asc file you have. I tried another files and they did not produce the. When I ignore the error and import the points, they still appear to import correctly.

I have not tried these design points out in the field if I ignore the warning. This started right after we updated to the new release. we used the same procedure to generate the points as always. We compared print outs of older ASC files that it imported with no warning and new ones. The spacing and position of commas are the same. It is just strange that just all of sudden started. If there is no change of position out in the field we ignore and go on. Don't like the feeling that we are ignoring the Check Engine Light and something comes back to bite us. If learn anything about this let me know. We do appreciate you taking the time to look at this. Let me know when I can take off of RAMS Mike

Have you tried saving the points in .csv format instead of .asc format to see if that prevents the message?
