I see the cute little hat you put on the rover, wouldn't that disrupt the detection of incoming gps signals though?

Lucky you with the snow down south. Come up north where it's warmer!

Cute Hat is a dollar store flexible cutting board mat. I have tied it on top, to keep the precipitation from hitting the screen, and giving false input.
I am TOLD that if radiation will heat it, then it blocks and modifies the signal. IF not, then it does not. So...
Put your selected "Hat" into the microwave, and SEE if it heats it. IF it does not, you are good to go. I got my job done.

Now, as far as snow is concerned, we are expecting another storm Monday, and next week. I have done my best to take a pic of it, and you can download it. But shipping costs are prohibitive.

Ah yes, the phantom inputs when rain gets on the screen, seen that a bunch of times. I thought the rover had a mind of it's own! Sometimes I have to resort to using the physical buttons since even wiping the screen won't clear enough moisture to keep using reliably lol.

That's interesting about your claim with radiation, if it affects a physical covering then it will block signals, if not, then it doesn't, I haven't heard that before. Will keep in mind.
