The problem casting the ntrip corrections from the base receiver wifi or laptop wifi is that you have to launch the drone within wifi range of the base.
Since the apparent demise of JCors, we have signed up for free accounts at Emlid and RTK2GO (SNIP) to use one of their free ntrip casters. We use two cell phone hotspots, one each at the base (T3 or old T1) and rover (LS+). The rover cell can also gets attached to the drone (Autel RTK) controller when needed. Unlike JCors, not all the rover devices have to be Javad.
We start the base from Jfield UHF as normal to get the base coordinates set in the base receiver and DPOS ready/logging. Then detach bluetooth base/rover. You can then start NetBrowser on the base cell (already set for hotspot), connect net browser by bluetooth and execute the Base Setup Wizard, ntrip. NetBrowser apparently imports the LatLong from the base. I failed trying to hand enter that data. Once your RTK2GO or Emlid credentials are entered into the NetBrowser, JField and your controller software (Autel Explorer for us), it gets stored for good. Startup is simple next time.
Also, we can post process the drone stand-alone gps data and base rinex files using RedToolBox and Agisoft Metashape.
