I check mission planning in general to see what times of day are best and try and plan my day accordingly.
It helps when there are hills to deal with. Those practicing in flat areas probably don't need it.
We all are impressed by what the L.S. allows us to do but I am also impressed by what it won't allow me to do, and that is get a bad fix if I have my L.S. setups configured properly.
If the measurement criteria set by me (hopefully as a responsible surveyor) is not being met, the L.S. with all its capability says too bad, your going to have to wait.

Sean, very good example of why this would be very helpful. I would love to see this integrated into the LS as well, it only makes sense.
