Lift and tilt feature not working

I have had an action group set up for some time I call "features" where I shoot road center lines, power poles, curb, edge of pavement, etc and I have it set to use the lift and tilt feature where it starts collecting as soon as it's plumb and then takes 25 epochs and then validates with 10 more. This has worked without issue until a few days ago where it seems to have stopped. Now it will collect once plumbed for a few shots and then suddenly stop auto collecting. I have to start hitting start every time. This has happened a few times and yesterday we actually had two LS's on the same job and both of the did this. I did a hard reset on my LS and it went back to auto collecting fine after that so I'm hoping that fixed it but with it also happening in a second LS I thought maybe there's something going on.
Has anyone else had any issues with this feature?

I find that it does not seem to work well and behaves sporadically too when I just tried it. I believe it is supposed to start when the tilt is less than 5 degrees and the unit is stationary for at least 3 seconds. I'm not sure what the threshold is that defines it as stationary.

Like I said, I hadn't had any issues with it at all until just a few days ago. At times in the past, even if it didn't start, I'd just bend the pole over quite a bit, then steady it back up and it'd take off. Now nothing seems to get it going again after it stops working. I even re calibrated the compass to make sure it hadn't gotten out too much.

After trying it again, the GNSS position seems to be used to determine if the unit is stationary rather than the compass and level readings. The downside to this is that it will not start unless you have a fixed solution. Maybe that's why you were having trouble Darren?

Out in the wide open with 6 full engines. Going down a road center line, one minute it's working, taking shots every time I stopped and plumbed up, the next minute it just sits there with 6 full until I hit start.
Maybe the hard reset fixed it, I'll report back if it happens again today.

Did the reset work for you? I was using the lift and tilt today and had the same sporadic issues. Would work fine for a while then stop and not be available.

I've not had any more issues with lift/tilt since I posted that back in January. It has worked fine since then. Are you up to date on all the released updates?

No, in fact I just tried updating and was getting an error message. So I will need to investigate when back in the office.

Figured out that I had to shutoff my sim card before updating. It went smoothly and now the lift and tilt works as expected.
