So I looked through the posts and didn't quite see what I wanted. Please point me to the correct spot if I missed it and I apologize in advance if did. I DO so hate multiple posts on the same subject.
A typical project for me will involve setting up a random point on my site where I have good sky. If I think I might have any gun work (multipath issues, lots of heavy tree cover, etc.) I will set a second point somewhere as a good backsite. I will just use an autonomous position for the base. This whole process lets me keep any local control point available for other surveyors to use, and also lets me keep an eye on my base as I am a bit paranoid about getting it ripped off. I then will tie into a local control point. I would like to be able to adjust my random base point now to the local control, and have all my work adjusted as well. I know there is a way to do it (single point localization?), but I just can't seem to find the right instructions.
Thanks for any help!
