LS Power/Battery Issue

For the last several days the red light in the upper right hand corner of LS is activated when the unit is off. When charging (with the LS off) there are no LED indicators providing feedback on charge status.

Apparently the battery is draining as well. I had 4-6 hours when I turned off the unit Friday afternoon. This morning the back of the LS was warm and it only had a bit over an hour of power remaining.

Anyone know what's going on?

Please try doing a Forced Update of the Power Firmware as explained in the attached.

OK, I attempted to use the LS and T2 in the field and the LS is not receiving corrections from the base. The satellite LED on the T2 is yellow and UHF parameter screen on the LS indicates no corrections/no UHF signal. The LS radio is on.

I resent the base setup and verified that both the base and rover are on the same frequency. I don't know where to go from here.
