PC to HPT401BT via Serial Port

I'm attempting to connect my radio to a win 7 pc.

ModemVU will not connect.
Using Com 1 that is not in use.
Users Guide indicates flow control setting - RTS/CTS.
My options for flow control - None, Hardware, Xon/Xoff.

Does anyone know if the flow control setting is causing the problem. If so, then any thoughts on how I add this setting to my serial port?

Be sure to run ModemVU as an administrator.

One more issue. I can't seem to locate the firmware file on site for the HPT401BT. Any thoughts on this?

The closest file name is AW400bt - June 2015.

Is that the correct file?

That is for the 4 Watt radio. I will check to see what the latest HPT401BT version is.

HPT401BT was delivered from factory with latest released firmware. What is your current version?
We plan to have next release next week, so the link wiil be prepared at that time.
