RTN Status - ERROR TIMEOUT

We were getting ready for the field today and can't seem to get our LS+ connected to our local CORS sites. This happens with both Wifi and LAN connections. RTN Status will say "SOCKET FAILED" then turns to "ERROR TIMEOUT". I've tried turning the RTN configuration on and off, disabling the wifi adapter and back on and finally connected to LAN with the same issue. Any suggestions? MDOT is usually pretty good at letting Surveyor's know if they are having issues on their end.

Toggle thru the general group settings to the apn. Then toggle thru the apn settings. Make sure correct interface is selected. Make sure that nmea gga is set to 5 seconds.

Thanks Adam. I checked the settings and the NMEA period was set to 10 seconds so I changed it to 5 seconds with the same results. We upgraded to the LS+ a few months ago and haven' had any issues until now.

Ok, I see this rtn operates via tcp. The LS doesn't have the ability to send your location to the rtn when using tcp. I reported this to the developers.

When I choose TCP it does not allow me to select a mountpoint. I can only select my mountpoint when using NTRIP. This is the way we have had is setup since we first received our LS in 2015.

I'm not familiar with Michigans rtn. I assumed it was tcp because when i looked at you profile that is what it was set to. Will put on rams again?

I'm not certain. It isn't connecting with the VRS msm4 mountpoint either. Can you contact the rtn provider and make sure the system is up and running?

It may not help in this situation, but I've encountered a couple of similar problems where turning the RTN and/or WiFi off and on didn't fix things, but a reboot of the LS did.

Thank you guys for your help with this issue. MDOT finally got back with me and they had an issue on their end. Waste of a day!
