Specifying "AUTO" for Antenna Height w/ Triumph-1 Gives Wrong Elevation

Good morning everyone. I was hoping someone more knowledgeable than myself can confirm my my suspicions here or advise accordingly.

I've uploaded two extended DPOS reports for the same point. One has the antenna height set to "AUTO" and the other has it manually specified from the drop-down list as "JAV_TRIUMP-1 NONE" It appears in the extended report that DPOS is aware it is a Triumph 1 (or at least that's just reporting the name), but it doesn't take into consideration the antenna height. When I specify the antenna height manually the reported ortho elevation is ~0.30' lower, or roughly the 96mm measured in the NGS diagram between the ARP and the top of the unit (and I'm assuming pretty close to the gnss antenna.

Is this what's going on? Going forward it can be as simple as just specifying the antenna, but then "AUTO" might be a little misleading.

Thanks for any help or insight you might be able to provide.

Dylan

Auto did not work properly for some reason and it was not able to determine the antenna model to use. Notice the antenna model field is blank in your report.

Have you check that this receiver has the latest firmware? If the antenna name is not being determined properly with Auto then use should specify it.

Make sure that the 'Antenna Type' is selected and the APC offsets are correct in the configuration.
These values will then be saved in the JPS data log-files and be available.

Suggest use NetView to check / apply the settings, plus allows you to 'save configuration' . . .

That's what we'd noticed too with the "ANT NAME" being blank and why we tried it both ways. I don't know if the unit is up to date. We dust it off on occasion for static observations primarily for horizontal, but I will look into it.

If I'm understanding this correctly I can program the unit to tell what number to pass along to DPOS for antenna height when using AUTO? I'll check it out.

Thank you both, I really appreciate the replies.
