Triumph LS receiving corrections from Triumph 3 base. Adam was able to connect and get corrections on his LS, but can't get them using IPhone 12 pro max phone as hotspot at rover end on this LS. so base is working, but LS not seeing corrections; error "socket failed".

Are there any known issues or special settings requirement for iphone, or this particular iphone?

I was able to connect to the TCP apn but no corrections Duane. Since I was able to connect that tells us the TCP is working correctly on the T3. The customer was never able to connect using his phone or his home wifi. I am not an I phone user so I'm not sure if there are certain settings that have to be set in the iphone.

Duane, I spoke with Reece again and I'm having him forget the network. Check on maximize compatibility setting in iPhone hotspot settings then reconnect. I spoke with one of my customers who uses an iPhone at the LS and he has that setting checked. Please follow up with Reece.

I do not have any issues connecting my iphone hotspot to the LS. It may depend on who his service provider is. He may not have tethering capabilities.

He is able to enter the hotpsopt settings on the I phone. The weird thing is rams works perfect using the phone. It's just the TCP connection

For everyones info the fix for this was to completely delete the apn under the general group settings and recreate it. Once I did this the Iphone connected instantly.
Is that the one that's just a name and not a real apn, or the one in base/rover that's actually an apn?
I think "maximize compatibility" also does have to be checked because the iphone was not working with their other LS until he turned that on.
