General Group is for how to survey: RTN, Standalone, RTK with radio, etc.
For most people, unless switching from RTN to RTK with on site base will seldom change the General Group.
Action Group is for how to collect: Start Stop method, epoch count, time on site, verification settings, consistency, validation, what to record, White Box settings, User button settings etc.
Users will likely change this one frequently. For example, I have three that I work between quite often: Control (for measuring boundary and control points, with all of my verification settings and longer time on site), Topo (for locating hard features in open areas such as curbing, with few verification settings and much shorter time) and Quick Topo (for locating points on a rough feature or surface (for getting topo shots across a field or the edge of a rough paved surface, uses lift to start, stops after a few seconds, automatically stores the point)
Codes and Tags: sets up the codes for a particular job. I don't vary my codes from one job to another, but I can see the utility in it.
Most people will never change this.
