Why?

This may have been covered already, but I'm too beat to go looking. I'm using the LS+ and T3 combo: why do I have to have the radio antenna connected to both units when running TCP? I know, it's a small thing, but in 15° weather with the wind blowing it's one more barehanded step in the process and my fingers get cold enough as it is! ☺

Don't know, I run the same LS+ and T3 and don't have the radio antennas on either when running TCP.
I tried leaving the radio antennae off yesterday: I could see that I had good cell service BT, but I wasn't getting any corrections. This is the second time I've tried it. As soon as the antennae go on, it works.

You don't need to have the UHF or FHSS antennas on when using TCP. You will need the BT antenna and the Wifi or Cell antenna on the T3, depending on which one of those methods you use. I'd like to see this on rams if TCP doesn't work unless UHF/FHSS is attached.
