Working with DXF lines

I'm wanting to be able to import property rough calc boundaries to help look for corners and then when we update our CAD with the found monuments, I want to be able to recreate a new dxf and replace the old lines in the LS+ with the new lines when corners are ready to be set.

Has anyone figured out a good way to keep the lines in the LS+ updated as you work and find monuments?

Other questions:

1. How do you change the line color?
2. My lines seem to mask the point numbers at the corners?
3. What do you do to make them background map friendly?

Thanks!

I use Localization like Shawn shows in this video:
I use the polyline vertices in the dxf where Shawn used design points in the video. Note that the Localization button has been moved inside the Coordinate Systems button on Home Page 2. This is one of my very favorite things about the Triumph-LS. I use it all the time.

How do you change the line color?
I use a different page, each with its own name, local coordinate system, and color, for each survey I'm retracing. These are all available in the Edit button for each page. I don't know how to change line colors other than by page.

My lines seem to mask the point numbers at the corners?
Mine too. I just zoom in until I can see what I need to see.

What do you do to make them background map friendly?
I have found that no matter what color I use for the linework, it will sometimes be hard to see over the background map. I assigned Show/Hide Background Map to a hardware button so I can toggle the background map on and off quickly. That works for me.
