affects of rain click time multitouch

So I was using Triumph LS in the rain, 35 deg. F, and screen kept going blank and had to hold on/off and restart, in addition it was going to long click functions when I barely touched a button. I read some of the threads on rain affects to the screen.

I'm going to try changing "long click time" in system settings from short to medium. But also, I see in this same screen I have "enable multitouch" clicked on. Can someone tell me what that is? Maybe I should turn that off when working in the rain?

@Eugene Aksyonov we really need that rain mode that will turn off the touch inputs but allow the screen to be visible and the hardware buttons to function. I would recommend that this be in the lock screen screen.

Multitouch is used to for zooming in and out with with 2 fingers similar to how it is used with smartphones.

Cool, didn't know I could do that, mostly avoid using fingers on the screen.

I don't know if this helps, but if I'm using it in the rain (I jave a lot of times) and the is giving me trouble I hold down the AV button until it gives me a touch screen calibrated message. This has always worked for me.

I've never thought of that either but it sounds reasonable. Its suppose to rain Thursday so I will give it a try too.
