AS BUILT collection tool

It would be nice to have a routine within Jfield that would allow you to input measured inverts other than within the note and elevations would be stored with the true invert elevation subtracted from the collected point as it is stored. It could also add this measurement to the note as it is stored. This would help to save time when we get back to the office of having to reduce the data that we have already entered. Maybe there is already something hiding in the software that I am not aware of or not using, but I don't think so. I know I could add to the rod height, but that causes problems if you forget to change it back. Anybody have any ideas? Any hope of getting something like this implemented? Thanks

Your best option is to create a MH code and have an invert attribute for it. Then when you export your points CSV format, export the attribute field. Then you can open the file in Excel and create a column to subtract the invert from the point height.

Matt, Thanks for the suggestion. I will give that a try. Would what I suggested be able to be implemented if JAVAD was so inclined to put that on the list of things to do?
