Assigning profile to page?

I am working on a as-built of a small subdivision. Collecting utility stubs, pads and valves in " Precise Topo " profile.
I have been parsing out my points between " pages " for view control mostly but also because I can assign colors to them. Cool. My control is red, my topo is magenta. Cool.
The pace was good, I was really groovin man, when I noticed the platting surveyor had begun setting his monuments. Cool. We will be staking all the houses and want to collect and hold his points with our grades on them. I made a page, set the color and title, changed the " profile " to boundary and collected a nice set on the point.
When the following point for topo came up I changed back to my as-built page and started the shot. I noticed as my 3 second delay on " boundary " started that profile settings don't stay on the page. I had to go back and change the " profile " back to " precise topo ", for every monument. It took so much extra time it wasn't worth the error chances. I will have to make a seperate loop for them.

Does any one else feel that it would be a good feature to implement?

Assign a different profile to each page I mean. I have " page " and " profile recall " in my white boxes to stay aware of my settings any way.

I have " page " and " profile recall " in my white boxes to stay aware of my settings any way.

It should be 3 button presses to change the page (Page white box > select page > Ok) and 3 button presses to change the profile (Recall Profile white box > select profile > Ok) . Is this what you were doing?

This is currently the fastest way to change profiles. Profiles aren't associated with pages. I think the next logical step to make changing profiles faster would be to add an option to assign the U1-U4 buttons to cycle between some selected profiles.

Oh yes! The user butons, didn't think of that.
I would like to see current state of " page " as well as " profile " in some place on my collect screen.

I admit that 3 key strokes each way each function is no great ordeal except the time it takes to do 6 extra key strokes per round on 6 corners with 3 lots in 100'.
And unique point name memory for each page would be a cool thing.
I think pages can become more powerful than Unicorns or Krispee Kreme. We just just need some one to teach them new tricks. I'm OK with only 10 pages, for now.

The white boxes can show the page and profile. It might be useful to have an option for a user button to toggle between selected pages too.
