Boot problems

Every time I boot up my T-LS the lower left LED blinks Red-Yellow-Green repeatedly and the screen stays black. I always have to hold in the power button till it stops blinking, release the button, then press it again to boot. It always boots the second time. Seems like this started happening about the time of the Linux upgrade. It happened intermittently at first, and more often when I was charging the battery, but now it's every time I boot. If I turn it off and then right back on it will boot, but if I turn it off and wait a few minutes, it always takes two tries. S/N 229. Firmware is updated to latest Release version.

I'm still on the release version. I haven't changed a thing. Ever since I created this post the LS has booted just fine. I've probably booted it a dozen times, with and without the battery charger connected and no problems. It's strange because it was requiring a hard reset with every boot before. Gotta love intermittent problems.

The boot problem has been intermittent the last few months, but in the last couple weeks, it's happening every time. I can't remember if the PreRelease version from April 30 is now the Release or not. Here is a screenshot of my versions. Suggestions?

I've noticed the same thing over the last few months. Like John, mine happens intermittently, and I end up just holding in the power button because the unit is totally unresponsive to anything else. I'm on whatever the latest, stable software version is pushed through the update menu.

I turn mine on. A few things happen. Blank screen. Nothing. Then, I hold the ON button, until it shuts all the way down. Then, turn it on the second time. Now, it turns on properly. I've assumed its a voltage problem. There is some sort of battery management software in this thing. If something fails sequence, it aborts boot up. Attempting to boot, uses a little power. It's just my theory, because of its behavior. I've not had to boot it 3x. Always 2x.
I hope this little (opinionated) info helps.
