I have a CORS station very close to most of my work but if the cell service is suspect I want the base and radio.
Lately I have been fortunate to be close to the CORS base but earlier this year I was glad to have base/radio.

I have been so fortunate not to deal with radios. Have adequate to great cell coverage in my area. I have never not been able to use cell for my communications I guess due to it being very flat terrain in south central GA. I feel for those who have distance limitations due to radio

I can but it is a great feature when it works. Doesn't work for all my surveys but when it does I don't care about the monthly fees I ja e to payfor the service. It's great please leave it.

The only reason I eventually got the TCP modem is when my radio range went down after my LS+ upgrade. I now prefer the TCP when it works, but I have to use my radio nearly weekly in some spot.
