change of coordinate system

This may be a dumb question but.... So I collected a bunch of shots using base(auto position) and rover setup. Base broadcast reference frame nad83, page set to spc central zone. I want the points in spc eastern zone. Do I change page one coordinate system, or do I set another page to the coord system I want and then somehow import all the points into that page and it will convert them?
Thanks,
Duane

Yes. Matt is absolutely correct. It's that simple.

Surveyed coordinates are stored in Latitude, Longitude and Height, (ITRF2008, epoch 2005) so it's not a problem for the software to present the coordinates in any valid projection you wish to use just by changing the coordinate system. The software applies the transformation from ITRF to NAD83 (a couple of meters, mostly in translation) then projects the NAD83 to State Plane.

Design points are stored as grid coordinates along with the coordinate system definition. When you switch coordinate systems, the coordinates are converted to LLH and then to whichever new coordinate system you select.

This allows the coordinate values to be extremely portable as well as supporting time dependent transformations.

I don't switch systems often however; I have a point clarification (question actually).
Let's say I collect ALL points in:
Page 2 set to CA State Plane Coordinates, Zone 2
then I edit page 3 and set that to SPC Zone 3

Under this scenario the points on the collect screen will be displayed in zone 3 when on page 3, correct? Even though all the points were collected on page 2 in zone 2 coordinates...

The points will be shown on the page( and with the Coord sys for that page) that was selected as the active page when collected. The Coord sys can be changed for the page if you want them on a different system. The pages checked will be displayed on the map. So you can see all pages or none or just the current. Not sure if that answered your question.
