CORS Base Coord. vs DPOS Base Coord.

The CORS "shifted" base coordinate in the LS does not match the DPOS coordinate in the post processing report. Which one is recommended/do people use? We have been using the CORS "shifted" coordinate but just recently noticed there's a discrepancy in NE and the U. Why are the coordinates different?

The DPOS REPORT JAVAD POST-PROCESSING STATE PLANE COORDINATES and the ELEVATION differ slightly from the CORS FIXED coordinate that is given to you when DPOS your job. Yes I understand the coordinates need converted from meters to feet, they still differ slightly.

Converted coordinates would be N: 396733.0873 E: 1525470.8924

That would be for international feet. Your receiver is set to US Survey Feet. The conversions are correct.

Is that the default setting for all LS's? Does anyone change that setting? If so, why?

There was a seminar here in Arkansas, about this subject, some yrs ago. And, it came from a lot of head scratching.
