Trying to process through DPOS and getting the message at the top of the screen
"Checking Base Presence".................WAIT
The base file 30 mb is in the list on the right column along with my sideshots.
Any ideas out there what this might be?

Several others, including myself, have had this happen lately. I deleted (as long as you still have it in the base) the downloaded file from my LS, then reconnected to the base and downloaded it again and it worked.

You could also delete the DPOS session and then use Recover DPOS Session found in the context menu of the points screen. I think this will fix it.

Here is what I have found, the base files are different sizes in different places???? The 30MB is the correct one. Not sure how to correct.

Adam I tried that and the LS would not let me copy the correct file in its place., the file handling is not the same in different screens and I still haven't got the knack for it.
As for the downloading, not sure what you mean, it was already downloaded and the session ended.
I am missing something here.

Sean, you should be able to download the file again using the button with the green downloading arrow. No need to copy. Just delete (using the red x) in the points screen, redownload, then use the context menu from points screen to recover DPOS session. Is that process not working?

okay thanks i have been jumping around so much I forgot where that was.
This is one of those things I haven't dealt with before.
This survey has an old graveyard on it and I think the job is jinxed.
I had another strange issue on my first base setup.

Adam I downloaded the file for point 134 and it shows up in the raw data folder, but doesn't show up in DPOS list of base files or the points screen.

Now recover DPOS session. Go to points screen, click resource button (three green bars), click right arrow, recover DPOS session.

Shawn, I tried that and it displays "DPOS task already exists" It doesn't seem to recognize the point I re downloaded.

In your case it is better just redownload the base file using Base/Rover setup. Connect to the base receiver, go to "Manage Base Files" screen (you have shown it on the screenshot above), go to the base file and press download button (green arrow).

Another solution can be applied using the latest PreRelease version. In the version you can manually attach the base file to the base point. For that you have to:
- download the file using another software (for example NetView);
- place the file to the USB dongle;
- go to Points screen, call context menu (top button on the left conner) and go to second screen of the context menu;
- call "Attach GNSS file" and select your file. It will ask to Replace the existing file.

If something goes wrong completely or you want to DPOS on the second rover - In the PreRelease it is possible to recover a DPOS session from scratch (recover the base point, attach a GNSS file to it, recover DPOS session).

We had this happen again this morning too.....just saw a "checking base data presence" . This is four or five times in the last couple weeks we've had this problem.
I deleted the base file off the LS, turned on my T1M and connected to it - then went into manage base files and re downloaded.
After it downloaded it still wasn't in the Dpos list, so I had to go to "recover Dpos session" and it showed up.
After all that I was able to send off and process.

Anyone have an explanation as to why this is becoming more and more common and when it's going to get fixed?

I'm running the current "release" version - maybe I should go ahead and install the "pre release", will/would this fix it?
