Files

I just want to delete a few files, but the button says "Delete All". If there is some place I can read more about the File Button, then I will read about it...or...maybe someone will give me a quick rundown about the buttons after I hit the File Button. I got a shot the other day under a tree that surprised me. Happy so far with the LS and Triumph-2 combo and with the many surveyors being continuously involved with its development. I have read in the past that GPS chips are about the same, but the difference is the software, the ease of use and the support and then the price comes in to it of course.....$20000 for a Javad System versus $30000 to $50000 for other well known systems...hmmmm

If you hold the delete button down it shows delete all. A quick press should just delete the selected item (this is for points and for files as well).

Glad to hear you are having a good experience with your system. Mine has certainly been a pleasure to work with each day.

Read the Help screen by pressing the Help hardware button when you have the Files screen open:

"Delete a few files" I think he means projects, or jobs. Same as I called shawn about earlier.
Go to collect.
Open job from list.
Scroll through list. Highlight, and press the red delete.

Thanks you guys...I should have said projects and Nate figured me out on what I wanted to do....immediate support from this website is great......Nate it does work to go low on some tough shots like you wrote about some time in the past....Phil

Minor suggestion on this point....
I suggest that the Programing team add the ability to manage the project files, from the "Files" screen. If it is not too hard...
The fact that I have done it, 6 mos ago, but yet I forgot where it was, tried the "direct approach" and it was not there... And I wound up contacting Shawn, while I was in the field, because I could not remember, indicates that If there was a STRAIGHTFORWARD method, under files, to do this, would have eliminated both my contact to Shawn, and Phil's need to ask here.

Software modifications, that do not loose functionality, and eliminate tech support calls, are good modifications.

For clarification - do you wish to put a link to the project management screen (which is invoked via "Open Project from List") into the Files screen (that with "Collected with Points")?

I would suggest that the button be called "Manage Project Files". That is a little more more descriptive of what it does.
Thanks for asking.
