Has anyone tried Bluetooth headsets with the new update yet?

I recently pulled the trigger and updated to the pre release of the new updates. Was like a kid in the candy store - couldn't wait any longer. Quite a few well anticipated great improvements. One I was looking forward to was being able to connect with a Bluetooth headset. I have a pair of Mpow brand ear buds that I really love that I use often with my iPhone. When I went into the LS and found where to search for Bluetooth devices, it unfortunately didn't pick these up. I've done a few topos with the LS riding an atv and its nearly impossible to hear and sounds while riding the 4 wheeler so this will be a great feature for that. Anyone else tried and had success connecting other devices?

Detecting Bluetooth headsets seems to be broken in the current Prerelease version of J-Field. I just tried it with a Bluetooth headset that worked in previous versions of J-Field and it is not being found now.

I requested this feature. I had a particularly noisy job, where I needed to set it up, and do other things. (made sense, as all the hardware was there) So, Javad put in!

I don't know any other GPS mfr that is moving forward like this one.

I got the update with it working... but it was a couple of weeks before I got in a noisy place, and needed it. Then, I could not figure it out.... Relieved to hear it was PROBABLY not me.... I stay up late into the wee hrs, solving stuff, but that one got me.
Just post when it's working...
I try again, then.

Did you guys put your headsets in pairing mode before trying to search for headsets? I realized this was the problem I had yesterday. After putting it in pairing mode it was found. The Tronics headset I have is put into pairing mode by holding the On/Off button down when it is turned on.

That did it Matt. As usual, it's not what the LS is doing wrong - it's what I'm doing wrong! My Bluetooth earbuds were connecting automatically to my iPhone as soon as I powered them on, so I turned off Bluetooth on my phone. I then had to do a similar holding of the on/off button on my earbuds to get it into "pairing mode". I then searched on the LS and it found and connected to it easily. This actually may be more helpful than I first thought - We all do so many jobs where the client or neighbor comes and follows telling us where everything is (sometimes very helpful, other times not so much). This could come in very handy for those situations....;)
As always, thanks for the help!
