How many coordinates per job can I put in the LS?

I was told that the software was "Not yet optimized" for large files. I have several jobs, that I'd like to load into the LS. One is 4k coords. The others are somewhere in the 2k, and 3k region.

Will it handle it?
Will it slow it down?
Will it crash?
Where are we right now, in this issue?

The biggest issue you would probably run into is that map generation will take longer with a lot of points. I know import and exports have been tested with 6000 points are there are no issues.
