I ran my LS on the previous job site as discussed above. My RSSI readings are similar to Donald at -75 dBm at 250' from the base. I did the frequency scan and am running the internal antenna. The base was set on the same control point as I had occupied with the 1 watt radio previously. Before, the 1 watt got out 2600 to 3000 ft; the 35 watt got 1.03 miles. After about 45 minutes, my radio went to no reception to the LS at 400' from the base. After numerous attempts to reset, I called Michael Glutting. He helped review the status of all the components, and it was determined that my T2 was not communicating with my radio (yes the blue tooth was connected and working). After powering down all 3 components and changing the battery on the radio, Everything started working as before so I finished the day. Friday, I was working on another site when the same thing happened about 45 minutes into using my system. The fix was the same, go back, power everything down, change radio battery re set up. I have been using a NAPA lawnmower battery, http://www.napaonline.com/Catalog/C...CI-U1R-NAPA-Batteries/_/R-NBE8229R_0353642642 which tests good at the NAPA store, and the replacement battery is a marine deep cycle. Is anyone else having this problem or are you all carrying full size auto batteries? Still confused about the lack of range on the 35 watt radio.
