I'm totally new to DPOS

I did it. I like it. Really. Without any help... Even downloaded a file from the T-2, which had not finished downloading from the T2, when I shut it down!
And this leads to a few questions.

How much time is needed for DPOS? Minimum? Best? Comments here?

What time of day is best to DPOS, for me, (central USA time)?

Also, I had bogus HI's at the base. One was because I forgot about it. And, the other was because I grabbed the wrong tape, that was in inches. I don't do that alot, but a little while later, I realized that 8" = 0.75', not 7"... so it's an inch off! I usually don't care about elevations, however, as I have read through the documentation, and all, I can see it as quite handy.

And, the best advice I can give about this equipment, came from Steve.
"Don't fight it, just submit to it".

Thanks all,
Nate

DPOS doesn't have time restrictions for observations like OPUS does but generally position accuracy increases with the length of the observation. Time of the day isn't really a factor in the accuracy.

What time of day is dpos available? does it vary? I'm in the central time zone. Chicago, for those of you who look at charts and maps.
Thanks!

DPOS is available any time. However, if you collect static data today you can not run DPOS until the CORS data gets submitted. This typically happens after GPS midnight but may vary depending on the particular CORS station.

Ok, GMT time is Greenwich mean time. And that happens 6 hours before us so theoretically at six in the evening where I am its already reached Greenwich Mean Time right?
And so theoretically if you ran past say 6 p.m. central time where I am, it could push it over into the next GPS day. Does anybody know what happens then?
Just curious.
