I'm wondering... Average of RTK, AND PPK?

I only accept fixed solutions and will stand there until I get 2 or 3 epochs that agree over 240 second time span between epochs. The only time I accept dgps or stand alone is if I have no communication with the base and do not have time to move my base.

Same as Matt. I will use dgps for rough Creek locations and stuff that doesn't have to be accurate on occasion.

It would be cool to see an option in this list to “Store PPK Vector as Another Point”:
9712

...then it could prompt for the point number.
I’m using a current workflow number scheme of 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, etc. So if this was a vector to #1, I may specify 1.4 for the PPK vector.

In cluster average the output yields an averaged coordinate of everything left of the decimal...or just plain old #1.

I say “Store PPK Vector” As apposed to “PPK coordinate” because I use post processing software...and I would need this to be included in the StarNet output with all the other vectors. It could say “coordinate” as long as the vector gets output...

I think this is a killer idea, but I’m with the other guys who would want this to be on a one by one choice. Not a blanket “Store All PPK Vectors” ...although that could be a second option...

cool discussion
I just had a scenario where this would have been perfect.
I had an iron up under a Leland Cypress...tried twice and it didn’t fix...second vector over 30 min. So I went on with the survey until I had enough to calc a smokin’ hot search point...at the end of the day I went back and got two more attempts for a total of four points and none of them agreed. I figured I would chance it on the PPK getting something redundant...
after DPOS I had to switch them off and on RTK-PPK to see which ones were closer to the calc. Or each other.

If I had this option...I would have turned the four shots into eight shots and seen which ones fit the calc point best...done!

by the way only one PPK did...by 0.04’...and it wasn’t the 30 min observation.
