1. Download image file triumphls.img.gz by the link below in latest messages.
2. pzip it into triumphls.img
3. find 8Gb microSD card and insert it into PC.
4. Download and install "Win32 Disk Imager" tool from https://sourceforge.net/projects/win32diskimager/
5. Run "Win32 Disk Imager"

7. If all is okay you will see confirmation about success of creating.
8. Insert SD into Triumph-LS and power off/on it.
9. On the first boot it will install applications so you have to wait.
10. When JField started go to System/Restore/"Restore Factory Data".

Eugene, what are the steps to pzip the file? I downloaded winzip but I must have done something wrong. I used win disk manger and was able to select the file I had zipped and renamed triumphls.img. It said it loaded correctly. I then inserted into LS and it booted up but is still on windows os.

You have to extract the file onto your computer and when you use the Win32 Disk Manager you browse to the file location and you upload the .img file and not the zip file.

I updated mine and all I can say is WOW. The speed is incredible! You will need to go in and turn your wifi on and your Ethernet on and SIM slot on before you can do the System/Restore/"Restore Factory Data. It is grayed out until you have an internet connection as it should be.

I made it to where i am prompted to remove the sd card and did this. Shortly after the screen went black and has not done anything since. The two led's on the left are on and the battery led is on.

Is the black screen typical during install? It's been about 3 to 4 minutes.

Hi, Adam. Try to reboot the device and post the result. Did you have previously installed Linux on the device or it had Windows before?

I notice there is an older version of GNSS firmware in red ready for an rollback, i assume. The current GNSS is 3.7.4.180523, The available is 3.6.13.1711...
Should I update and allow the gnss to rollback?

If the device can't boot after installing of Linux image and reboot try following steps:
- try to reboot device by On/Off button
- try to install the image again
- post your experience

We need the statistics and it could be that we will need such the device in our office.

You will need to check and see which branch of software you are running (release - pre-release or testing).
