John,
Are Firmware updates for the LS+ and J-Field updates on the schedule? It has been almost four years while improvements are certainly available.
Mark
Hi Mark,
The TLS+ software / firmware, in the most current release version, are stable and work very well for RTK/RTPK static survey operations that everyone is using.

Was wondering instead of using the Firmware Uploader, can you just install by connecting it to the LS +? Or is that option not there anymore?

With an 'Internet' connection:
The LS+ 'rover' firmware is able to be updated from the JFIELD 'Software | Update' screen.
The Triumph 'base' firmware can be updated:-
1) Either: From the LS+ JFIELD 'Remote Base' | Update Options and Firmware | Remote Base Update.
2) Or: Using the NetView application on your computer, using the Update Firmware | From Website

Compared to John's screen, my Ls+ has different firmware (modem, UHF, AstroEngine), I think older and having the padlock symbol it cannot be updated. I ask especially regarding the cellular modem, I always have the problem that it connects correctly one time out of five.

Please 'check' your TLS OAF option's . . .
Make sure that you have up to date OAF (for your unit) . . .

If the OAF are good, check that you do not have any 'disabled' firmware (being blocked).

Thanks I didn't know about these options. Astroengine has been updated, but UHf, even removing the padlock sign, remained at version 3.2.4.43. For the modem problem that connects to the internet once out of 10 (I selected generic) I work in Italy and use a national data sim (I tried 3 or 4 from different companies with the same problem) to connect to Ntrip, the ATT, Bell Roger Telus Verizon options, what do they change in the modem settings?

NOTE:
When upgrading firmware, remember the receiver setting parameters will be reset...
So do save a copy of your configuration settings before firmware upgrade,
so that you can reload the previous configuration parameters back to your unit.
